Tonight I get to fulfill a dream by serving as one of the judges for HWC’s X-Factor talent competition. Starting at 5 pm, HWC’s best will be competing for the right to call themselves . . . well, I haven’t been briefed on the grand prize, but I am sure it is something outstanding.
My only regret is that the organizers have informed me that they have screened out all of the really bad acts, so I will not be able to put on my best Simon Cowell and rip someone to pieces. The acts who passed muster should make for a great night, though.
