That *is* a good day. I'm looking forward to meeting our new colleagues. Any word on how many of the original 22 positions are being filled?
We had included 20 positions in our operating plan and subsequent budget request based on requests from the departments. I don't know where the 22 number comes from. We received approval from the Chancellor to hire all 20 faculty members. We are in the midst of interviewing and screening applicants. Not all departments finished their work in time for a fall start, and so some number of candidates will start this fall and the balance will start for the spring semester.
The 22 number came from my bad memory of your 90 Days post, which stated 20.
This is an exciting time of year!
